Program on “The Tools in Photoshop”
by local Photographer Joel Ownby
The LeConte Photographic Society will present a photo program at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the King Family Library in the Burchfield Room by local photographer and member of our club, Joel Ownby.
Joel Ownby has been into photography most of his life, even while he served our country in the Navy, he always had a camera with him. Over the past 17 years he has become a more serious photographer and since retiring in August of 2016, he has had more time to fine tune his skills. He has attended many workshops & training sessions, but is mostly self-taught by using Kelby One & YouTube videos, which are available to anyone via the Internet. He has also taught a beginner training class in Lightroom with some Photoshop thrown in as well. He has become very proficient in Lightroom too.
He is presenting “The Tools in Photoshop”. These are the tools in Photoshop that are on the left edge of the Photoshop environment. Not every tool will be covered, just the most important and most used tools. This program is for beginners or for people with limited experience in Photoshop, but who want to improve their skills to make their photos look great. Even experienced users may pick up some knowledge of tools that they may have missed or forgotten.
This is not a library sponsored event. Please join us for this free and open to the public program. The LeConte Photographic Society meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at the King Family Library. Please feel free to visit us at our next meeting. You can find out more information by checking out our website: www.lecontephotographic.com. We are a teaching club, so no matter your skill level you are welcome to join us at our meetings.
