ASSIGNMENTS<\/h1>\n

Each month we include an “assignment” in the competition that is in addition to the usual categories (Beginner, Advanced, Star). \u00a0The assignment category combines all experience levels into one competition with one first, second and third place prize awarded for the assignment. You must be a member of LCPS to compete.<\/h4>\n

Guests are always welcome to attend the mettings and enjoy the entries and critiques.\u00a0Assignments are\u00a0great exercises for creativity!<\/h4>\n

COMPETITION CATEGORIES<\/h4>\n

\u00a0(Participation open to member’s only)
\nMembers compete each month in either the Beginners Division, Advanced Division or Star Division (considered as professionals and the most experienced members of our club). \u00a0These categories allow competitions in both the Beginners and the Advanced Divisions to be more properly matched.<\/h4>\n

\u00a0Please be aware that file\u00a0size is not an issue\u00a0any longer as we are using Lightroom for the projection software.

AWARDS
\nRibbons are awarded to winners of each division in first, second and third place.<\/h4>\n

CRITIQUES
\nCritiques are offered by the judges to suggest\u00a0 improvement of one’s images or confirmation of the qualities of the image. \u00a0Member’s may request a critique AFTER the judges scores are tabulated or after the meeting. The\u00a0second Wednesday of each month, Mr. Larry\u00a0Perry heads up a group of local photographers who meet for a lunch.\u00a0 This meeting is properly called\u00a0 “The Digital Lunch Bunch”.\u00a0 Anyone with an interest in photography, or not, is welcome to join us.<\/h4>\n
