Most noted for its "Witches of November", the fall storms that can produce 30 foot waves, Lake Superior's Apostle Islands provides a Great Lakes sailing mecca in the summer months. Grab a cup of Coffee, and go sit on the docks and watch the world go by. Watching Bayfield wakeup up in the summer time is a splendid way to spend an early morning. The lake is calm, often with hardly a ripple, the early fishing boats are just beginning to make their way out of the harbor, the ferries warming up to start making their runs to Madeline Island. The seagulls and ducks taking their positions to greet the day. An overall sense of calm and order persists
When I view this image, I realize that I have no need of fear. Everything will be as it is supposed to be. I have only to accept today as it is.
