Sunset, Morton Overlook,
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
The Morton Overlook, just below Newfound Gap on the Tennessee side, is a popular spot with photographers for sunsets. Providing an unencumbered vista
facing west, it's best to arrive early to claim a spot. This shot has been enhanced to give it a watercolor effect.
When I look at this image, I am reminded that I can live this moment forever, as long as I remember it. And so it is with life.
All I have to do is remember a moment, and it is with me again. I never have to be without it.
The Sun Never Sets On A Wonderfull Memory
As the Sun goes down on a Wonderful day,
We reflect on this gift that God has given us.
The laughter, The Joy,
The warmth of Sunlight on our face, a cool summer breeze blowing in the shade,
The gentle ripples as the wind dances over the lake, The soft whisper of the fluttering leaves,
We Celebrate this Gift, And wish it would never end.
As we know it will not last forever,
But Alas it can,
For as long as we carry this memory,
This day will live forever.
